Finishing Well

It is as certain as the being of God that the earth will be filled with the glory of the Lord (Numbers 14:21; Habakkuk 2:14). If we want to finish our race well, we must join God in this purpose to fill the earth with his glory. He's going to finish it, and we may either join him in his purpose or miss it - everlastingly! The question John Piper posed at the Finisher's Conference in 1998 was: Will you spend the rest of your life trifling with broken cisterns that can hold no water or will you join God in his passion for his glory?
